Join the Med School Insiders Team

High-Ticket Closer

Full-time, Remote

About Med School Insiders LLC

At Med School Insiders, we’re on a mission to create a generation of happier, healthier, and more effective future doctors. We provide world-class advising, courses, and resources that help students excel in their pre-med and medical journeys. With over 1.81 million subscribers on YouTube and thousands of students served, we’ve built a reputation for excellence, and now we’re adding a dedicated Closer to our growing Sales Team.

We’re looking for a proven consultative closer to own our highest-value conversations: $10,000 to $100,000 advisory, consulting, coaching, and tutoring engagements with premeds, medical students, and their families. Every call you take is a warm, pre-qualified appointment booked by our setter team. These are 60 to 90 minute consultations about the trajectory of someone’s medical career, followed by disciplined, structured follow-up until a decision is reached. This is a craft seat for a career closer, not a boiler room.

Why Join Med School Insiders

    • Uncapped commission on cash collected. Your ceiling is your close rate, not our budget. OTE $200K.
    • Warm inbound demand only. Prospects already know Med School Insiders through 1.81 million YouTube subscribers. No cold calling, no purchased lists, no self-sourcing.
    • Inherit a proven playbook. You’ll study a library of recorded calls from our founder, a physician who currently closes these engagements at the highest rate in company history, and replicate what already works.
    • A setter feeds your calendar. Qualified, prepped, confirmed appointments arrive on your calendar. Your job is the conversation and the follow-through.
    • Sell something you can believe in. Our clients are future physicians making the most important decision of their careers. The product is world-class and the outcomes are real.
    • A sharp team and a defined system. Decisions move quickly, expectations are clear, and modern tools (Attio, Calendly, Google Workspace) plus clear weekly numbers mean you always know where you stand.

The Role

As our Closer, you own the revenue conversation from booked call to collected cash. You will run long-format consultative closes with prospects who arrive warm and prepared, maintain deal momentum through structured next-day and multi-touch follow-up, and keep every commitment made on a call documented and honored. Prospects should never have to remember what was agreed; your follow-up does it for them. You slot into a defined sales system: a setter qualifies and books, you consult and close, and our founder handles a small number of select calls. You report to MSI’s sales lead.

What You’ll Do

    • Run 60 to 90 minute consultative closing calls (typically 3 to 4 per day) on $10K to $100K engagements, via phone and video.
    • Own follow-up and momentum. Same-day recap messages after every call restating what was discussed and agreed. Next-day and structured multi-touch follow-up until the prospect decides. No deal goes quiet because we went quiet.
    • Close and collect. Commission pays on cash collected, so you carry deals through signed agreement and first payment, not just a verbal yes.
    • Study and replicate the playbook. Review the founder’s recorded calls, learn what works against our specific objections, and mirror it before you improvise.
    • Maintain impeccable CRM hygiene in Attio: deal stages current, notes detailed enough for effortless handoffs, next steps always dated.
    • Surface field intelligence. Recurring objections, pricing friction, and lead-quality patterns go to the sales and operations team, mirroring how our setter team works.
    • Collaborate with the setter team on qualification standards, prep quality, and show rates. You are their downstream customer; make the feedback loop work.

Who You Are

You’re a closer in the truest sense of the word. You like the moment a high-stakes decision gets real: the prospect has questions, the parents have concerns, the investment is significant, and your job is to help everyone get clear enough to decide with confidence.

You’ll probably recognize yourself here:

    • Competitive, but not pushy. You want to win, you track your numbers, and a missed deal bothers you enough that you go back and work out what you’d do differently.
    • Comfortable talking about real money. A $10K, $50K, or $100K investment doesn’t make you tentative or apologetic. You can discuss price directly while recognizing it’s a serious decision for the family on the other end of the call.
    • Curious before you’re persuasive. You ask great questions, listen closely, and figure out what’s actually driving the decision before you recommend anything.
    • Able to lead a conversation without dominating it. Warm, credible, direct, and at ease with both ambitious students and highly invested parents.
    • Clear that “no pressure” isn’t the same as passive. You ask for the business. You surface objections instead of avoiding them. You challenge fuzzy thinking and help people reach a real decision.
    • Obsessive about follow-through. If you say you’ll send something at 4:00, it goes out at 4:00. Your CRM is current, your next steps are dated, and opportunities don’t disappear into a pile of forgotten follow-ups.
    • Coachable even though you’re experienced. You’ve built your own instincts. You’re also willing to study what already works here, replicate it, take feedback, and earn the right to make the playbook your own.
    • Built to own a number. Nobody has to hover over you to create urgency. You know your pipeline, close rate, cash collected, and where every open opportunity stands. Uncapped commission reads as exciting to you, not intimidating.
    • Invested in what you sell. You want to make money, and you want the person who said yes to be better off for having said it.

This role is probably not for you if you need a script for every situation, dislike persistent follow-up, get uncomfortable asking directly for a decision, or believe great closing means manufacturing urgency. We’re looking for someone who pairs empathy with commercial intensity and does both exceptionally well.

What We’re Looking For

The traits above are what we assess in conversation. These are the hard requirements.

    • Documented high-ticket closing experience. You have personally closed $10,000+ engagements over phone or video and can prove it with commission statements, W-9/1099 records, or recorded calls. This is a hard requirement and will be verified.
    • Native-level spoken English with an exceptional phone presence. Daily long-format calls with US-based physician-track clients and their families; your communication must land perfectly on the first pass.
    • Clear, concise, professional written English. Recap emails and follow-up messages are half this job.
    • Bonus (strongly preferred): you know this world. Former premed, MCAT alum, med school dropout, or experience selling in medical education, admissions consulting, test prep, or medical devices. If you can speak AMCAS, ERAS, and Casper without a glossary, say so early and prominently.
    • Bonus: Familiarity with Attio or similar modern CRM, Calendly, Google Workspace, Notion.

Success in This Role Looks Like

You’ll be measured weekly on cash collected, close rate on booked calls, follow-up execution, and CRM hygiene. Specifically:

    • Month 1: Playbook internalized. You’ve studied the founder’s call library, shadowed live calls, passed graded mock closes, and begun taking booked calls with recaps going out same-day.
    • Month 2: Full call volume. Close rate on booked calls at or above the baseline set by the founder’s recorded benchmark, zero deals stalled for lack of follow-up.
    • Month 3: You are the primary closer for the company. The founder has been fully bought out of daily selling, and your collected-cash numbers fund your own comp several times over.

Compensation & Engagement Terms

    • Uncapped commission on cash collected, $200K OTE, paid on our standard 15-day contractor cycle as client payments land.
    • Monthly draw against commission during ramp so you have a floor while you learn the playbook.
    • Independent contractor (1099) engagement. You control your methods and working setup; we define outcomes, brand standards, and quality bars.
    • Fully remote. Call availability follows prospect demand, which concentrates in US afternoon, evening, and weekend windows.
